I graduated from Manchester College of Art with a Dip.A.D in Fashion and Textiles. Since then I have worked in the fashion industry for many years and on retiring as a Design Director I have painted in various mediums, watercolours, acrylics, oils and mixed media.

Areas which interest me particularly are portraits, recording social occasions - weddings, christenings, family parties or any event which has a social dynamic. Recently, during the pandemic, I have turned my focus to painting the natural world, landscapes, flowers and shrubs from the garden.

I am happy to undertake private Portrait commissions.
